ST. ANDREW'S LOWER EPISCOPAL SCHOOL
Herndon, Stauch & Associates was the Construction Manager/General Contractor for the expansion of St. Andrew's Lower School located in Central Austin. The School renovated its existing library into multi-purpose and computer learning spaces and constructed a new Library Building.
The new library features exposed steel trusses on the interior and has a limestone exterior with a standing seam metal roof to blend in with the existing campus buildings. The Project also included the addition of a cast stone semicircular amphitheater and a bell tower with three Verdin bells that were imported from Europe.
Herndon, Stauch & Associates worked closely with school officials and staff to coordinate and plan the work within the confines of the existing campus and while normal school activities were taking place throughout the course of the Project.
The architect for the Project was Susman Tisdale Gayle.
