ST. EDWARD'S UNIVERSITY
A new residence hall complex is being designed to house 300 students. The complex will contain dining facilities that will double the capacity of the campus' current dining facilities. The project will also house a coffee house, convenience store, and a new campus health & counseling center.
The project's site is critical in terms of the campus master plan. The complex straddles the pedestrian mall to the East of the historic Main Building, and will serve to extend this mall and also to provide a destination point along this axis.
This project also incorporates parking and chilled water plant components. New parking for 750 cars will be provided and 1000 tons of chilled water capacity will be added to the campus chilled water system. The satellite chilled water plant will be designed for an eventual capacity of 4000 tons plus additional thermal storage capabilities.
